Once again, Bahía Blanca has been hit by a natural disaster, this time by a severe flood that left thousands affected and six people deceased. Emanuel Ginobili, former basketball player and Olympic champion with the Argentine National Team in Athens 2004, expressed his deep sorrow for the situation affecting his hometown.

Recalling the previous storm on December 17, 2023, which left 13 deceased, 14 seriously injured, and more than 300 evacuated, Ginobili expressed his solidarity with all those affected by the recent storm. The city of Bahía Blanca was severely impacted by the heavy storm that caused severe flooding and forced the evacuation of thousands of people.

Emanuel Ginobili, who took his first steps in sports at the Bahiense del Norte Club, shared his pain on social media upon seeing the consequences of the disaster in his community. In an online message, the San Antonio Spurs icon expressed: "Another hard blow. What sadness to see this. A huge hug to everyone who is going through hard times."
